about:

I'm a Vancouver-based designer with a long history of making things, from web sites to woolly scarves. I'm so excited to be developing the AuMarché (French for "To The Market") line of reusable shopping bags, as it's been a dream of mine to create a stylish, useful and affordable product that also has a positive impact on our ever-stressed planet.

Did you know that 1 TRILLION plastic bags are used and discarded around the world every year? Did you know that it takes about 100 years for a plastic bag to break down? Did you know that you don't actually need a plastic bag to carry your magazine or carton of eggs from the store to your car?

I think the little changes we make in our day-to-day life all add up to make a big difference.

I'm happy to do my little bit to help you make a better choice!
